THE NEW RIVERS MUSIC SCHOOL, THE RIVERS SCHOOL
WESTON, MA

The Community Conservatory Music School on the edge of a private middle/high school campus contains a recital hall, orchestra, choral and ensemble rehearsal rooms, teaching studios, and practice rooms. Situated on a protected “scenic road” at the entrance of the main campus, the facility is distinguished by its outward look of a traditional barn, placed on an existing foundation. Yet its “campus facing” walls of glass opens the Recital hall and Atrium to a newly formed Music Garden, with Amphitheater, and links the Music School with the heart of the upper school campus. (Conceptual Design complete, fundraising in progress).
