LOGAN/BORDEU HOUSE
CAMBRIDGE, MA

The 2500sq. ft. house, a year round residence for a couple with children, is situated in a dense residential neighborhood. Designed with simple volumes the house responds to the memories of the couple’s years spent in Central and South American environs, where every inch of outdoor area is precious and purposeful. Walls, trellises and ample windows on the south side of the house allow the inside to flow outside without being disturbed by the presence of the public street. A high ceilinged central living room with cascading stair is bathed in southern clerestory lighting, and serves as the hub of daily life and formal parties. The master bedroom with French balcony, occupies the corner tower. (Project is currently in Design Development)
